Summary: Turning never have I ever into a drinking is a great idea, right? Lu Han thinks so, so it must be true.

“Does anyone care to tell me why we're playing this?” Kris asked, sitting down in front of the couch where Kyungsoo, Sehun, and Jongin were seated.
“You're the one who explained the rules,” Lu Han reminded him with a grin, setting the two bottles of vodka down in the middle of the kind-of circle that they were in before sitting with his back against the TV stand.
Kris sighed, “That's because you guys were asking about stupid party games they play in Canada. I didn't think we were actually going to play it.”
“What's it called again?” Chanyeol asked from where he was sprawled in the overstuffed chair.
“Never have I ever,” Kris told him for probably the fourth time, listening to Chanyeol butcher the English words in an attempt to repeat it.
“This is so dumb,” Kris muttered.
When Joonmyun had suggested a bonding activity, he'd been wary enough. Playing a game that was popular among thirteen year old girls was even worse than whatever group discussion Joonmyun would have come up with.
“But I made it better!” Lu Han chirped happily, helping as Jongdae distributed a shot glass to each member, “Taking a shot every time someone says something that you've done is way better than just putting down a finger.”
“But how are we gonna know who wins?” Baekhyun asked from his spot in front of the chair Chanyeol was in.
“It'll be the person not falling on their face at the end of the night,” Minseok smirked.
Kris tried to keep from rolling his eyes, but based on Lu Han's (evil) glare, he hadn't succeeded.
“Okay let's fill everyone's shot glass,” Lu Han said, “And we'll just refill them as they get drained so we don't waste time pouring before people take their shots.”
Count on Lu Han to come up with a creative way to get everybody smashed.
“Who starts?” Zitao asked, looking a little wary, though Kris knew that he could at least hold his alcohol pretty well. The two of them had that working in their favor. Sehun was in trouble.
“Lu Han should start since he's the mastermind behind this,” Jongdae proclaimed and Lu Han grinned.
“Alright,” he began, “Never have I ever been handcuffed during sex.”
There was a pause when everyone just stared at him before Baekhyun burst out laughing.
“How is that the first thing you thought of?”
Lu Han shrugged, grinning as he swept his eyes over the other members, “No one?”
Out of the corner of his eye, Kris saw Zitao slowly bring his shot glass up to his lips before tossing it back.
Lu Han whooped happily while the rest of the members looked on in varying degrees of surprise. Zitao ducked his head, cheeks flushed.
Kris shot Lu Han a dirty look. Of all the people to single out in the first round-
“What?” he asked innocently, “I didn't know.”
Kris scoffed, watching as Zitao refilled his glass and waited for the next person to go.
“Never have I ever...” Minseok began, pausing to think, “Thrown up on someone's shoes when I was drunk.” He looked over at Lu Han pointedly who made a show of being offended before taking his shot. He was joined by Jongdae and Chanyeol.
“Never have I ever ditched class in high school,” Kyungsoo declared.
Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Lu Han, Kris, Jongdae, Minseok, and Yixing all had to drink.
Joonmyun shot a look at Sehun and Jongin.
“Hey, it doesn't count!” Sehun insisted as Jongin nodded along emphatically, “We were trainees all through high school. We weren't ditching. We had actual other things to do.”
“Don't tell me that beating all the Left 4 Dead campaigns in one day isn't an actual thing,” Chanyeol argued loudly.
Sehun rolled his eyes.
The game went fairly smoothly as they continued, though Kris really hadn't ever wanted to know how many of the members had used empty practice rooms in the SM building for sexual escapades. He really hoped that the janitors had a habit of disinfecteing the shit out of everything.
By the time that nearly everyone had had their turn, everyone had downed at least one shot, most of them more, so they were a bit more rowdy and relaxed than when the game had started when only Lu Han had seemed into it.
“Never have I ever,” Jongdae started, “Had sex with a guy.”
Kris froze for a moment, heart slamming against his ribcage. This really didn't seem like the best way to come out. But then he remembered that at least he wouldn't be alone. Zitao had to drink too. That was just another thing that they bonded over when they were trainees aside from being one of the few Chinese trainees at SM. And then there were those couple of times pre-debut when they'd fooled around...
But as much as Kris really, really didn't want this to be how the group found out that he was gay, he couldn't let Zitao take the fall alone. And based on the handcuff question, he was playing truthfully and wouldn't lie like Kris might have.
Tipping his head back and letting the clear liquid pour down his throat, still burning a little, he saw Zitao taking his shot out of the corner of his eye. When he'd lowered his glass, already able to feel eyes on him, he saw Lu Han slam down his empty shot glass with a flourish. Everybody's gaze was now on Lu Han.
“What?” he asked, looking completely unashamed and unconcerned about the fact that he'd just, for all intents and purposes, announced to the whole room that he liked men.
“Nothing,” Jongdae answered a beat later with an easy laugh, “You didn't have to be so showy about it though.”
Lu Han shrugged unrepentantly, “Why should I be embarrassed that girls and guys want a piece of this? Besides, someone had to be chill about it,” he looked over at Kris and then Zitao in turn, “You guys are bringing the party down.”
There was another moment where nobody said anything and then Chanyeol started laughing, slapping his knee as his right eye disappeared from sight and nearly kicking Baekhyun in the head as the shorter boy quickly threw a shot back.
After that everyone was laughing and no one seemed uncomfortable and thank fuck because Kris would have had to kill Lu Han if this stupid game had basically caused the whole group to fall apart.
But wait.
Kris rewound the last minute in his head. Chanyeol had almost kicked Baekhyun in the head when he'd been taking a shot. Whipping his head to the right, Kris's eyes widened when his stare met Baekhyun's, and the nervous look on the younger boy's face was enough to tell Kris that the shot hadn't been just for the hell of it. That meant...oh. Well, that kind of changed everything.
Glancing around the room in what was hopefully a casual way, Kris was able to ascertain that he had been the only one to notice Baekhyun taking the shot. Everyone else was still too busy laughing and trying to get Lu Han to tell them how many people he'd slept with- basically, acting like drunk idiots.
Looking back at Baekhyun again, Kris found himself feeling a lot more sober than he had a minute ago. Baekhyun was chewing on his lower lip as he twisted the hem of his shirt, cheeks pink.
He reached over and nudged Baekhyun's knee, causing the other boy's head to snap up like he'd been slapped. Kris smiled, hoping that it was conveying the don't worry, I won't tell anyone and also it's totally cool that you like guys because I do too and maybe I've kind of liked you for a while, but didn't know if you liked me, so maybe this means something feelings that he couldn't say out loud right then.
After a moment of Baekhyun looking somewhat petrified, his face broke out into a grin and Kris felt like his heart might explode.
“Okay you guys,” he said in his authoritative voice, “I think we've all had enough to drink. We do have rehearsal tomorrow.”
“God, you're like the biggest killjoy ever,” Lu Han complained from where he was sprawled on the floor with his legs at a strange angle.
“If you really want to, you can get shit-faced and come to rehearsal feeling like you're dying,” Kris told him, “But I'm suggesting that we end the game.”
“This isn't because of my question, is it?” Jongdae asked, looking guilty.
“Because, seriously, no one cares,” Sehun jumped in, sounding almost bored, “I don't know why you guys thought you couldn't say anything.”
Knowing that the other members didn't think any less of him (or Zitao or Lu Han) based on the fact that he liked men made warmth well up in Kris's chest. But he tried not to show it because getting sappy over something like this would be embarrassing. Even though he could already see Zitao brushing away a tear as Minseok patted him on the back.
“It's not because of that,” he assured Jongdae who looked relieved, “I just think we've had enough of this game. I mean, really. Does anyone want Lu Han to ask any more sex related questions?”
That was an overwhelming no which had Lu Han pouting and complaining that they were all prudes.
Now that no one was looking at him anymore, Kris turned back to Baekhyun and tilted his head, getting to his feet and smiling to himself when he heard Baekhyun trailing after him. The way that Baekhyun smiled shyly up at him once they were in the kitchen and out of sight of the other members had his stomach somersaulting. And no, it wasn't from the alcohol.
(The only problem was that this was all thanks to Lu Han and his stupid ideas. And Kris had a very strict no-thanking-Lu Han-for coming-up-with-dumb-ideas policy that he had no intention of breaking. He'd just have to think of something. In the meantime, kissing Baekhyun was the perfect distraction.)

hmm..i actually didn't consider whether or not it was kris who used the handcuffs on him. my head canon is that they're in a D/s relationship though, so it's likely! XD
